Accommodation 

The 258 guest rooms and suites are divided between the Manor House as well as 16 plantation-style villas which are located in twin arcs north and south of the Manor House in the gardens. Each room is elegantly furnished and designed to highlight the resorts' contemporary plantation theme with light, classic colors complemented by elegant colonial mahogany furniture – it all adds up to a very classy and restrained ambience that will appeal to clients looking for understated elegance.

Dining and Drinks

The buffet restaurant lines up Mauritian and international dishes. At Citronella’s Café, expect Italian dishes and pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, while at Tides beachfront venue you’ve got a menu that includes seafood and sushi.

Local fare is on offer in the thatched pavilions of Paul & Virginie restaurant, part of the neighboring sister hotel. Just so you know some items at the bars and restaurants carry an extra charge.

Mon Plaisir restaurant

The buffet restaurant serves up breakfast and dinner with show cooking and themed evenings. This place comes with a dress code, its trousers and a shirt with a collar for gentlemen.

Tides beach restaurant

Tides offer a choice of light bites for lunch and international delicacies for dinner. There's also live music in the evenings. There's a dress code here of trousers and a shirt with a collar for gentlemen. Just so you know, some menu items are not part of the All Inclusive package.

Citronella's Café

Tuck into a selection of snacks, salads and wood-fired pizzas for lunch, and traditional Italian cuisine for dinner. You'll also find a bar here offering a selection of drinks all day. Tides bar

Golf

Guests receive preferential access and reduced green fees at two of the island’s most beautiful courses. The first is the highly unique Ile Aux Cerf Golf Course situated on the small island of Ile aux Cerfs. Designed by Bernard Langer, this highly challenging but enjoyable course is something every golf lover should get to experience. The second is the new Tamarina Golf Club which is a short drive from the resort.

Kids

With its facilities and equipment specially adapted for children, the Sun Kids Club proposes fun and original activity programs. Children can spend time playing golf, tennis, wind surfing and swimming. Educational excursions can also be arranged during their stay at Sugar Beach.

For dinnertime fun, the Sun Kids’ Club regularly organizes themed evenings with a selection of specific menus that children love! Buffets and barbecues will engage your kids, always under the watchful eye of our experienced team.

For evening events, the services of a babysitter are required for children aged 2 to 3. Babysitters are available on request, for a supplementary fee.  Babysitters will also look after your children in your hotel room.
