A Mano
Kanuhura’s gorgeous A Mano restaurant (which loosely translates into “made by hand”) is situated on the beach with an unrivalled view of the scintillating Indian Ocean and offers guests the choice of dining outside under the palm trees or inside, where guests can enjoy the spectacle of live cooking stations and themed dinners. Here, guests can enjoy beachfront dining at its best as they indulge in delicious homemade delights and unique buffet dinners (every evening there is a different theme) that showcase outstanding global cuisine - each dish made with the freshest ingredients. Drift Beach Grill
Located on one of Kanuhura’s deserted neighbouring islands, Jehunuhura, this incredible beachside grill is the perfect option for wild-hearted adventurers looking for a unique culinary experience. Beautifully prepared food is grilled freshly for guests as they lap up the luxury of their ‘own’ deserted private island. Iru Beach Bar

The exceptional kids club at Kanuhura is conveniently and centrally located, near the resort’s reception area and a few metres from the pristine, idyllic beach. Stylishly designed with the same creative bohemian flair as the rest of the resort, it boasts an air-conditioned indoor area perfect for playing games and taking naps. The outdoor area has been carefully created to suit young explorers; the covered terrace offers a safe place for your kids to indulge their creative sides as they paint masterpieces and decorate cupcakes. There is also a splash pool ornately decorated by a three-metre high purple flower “waterfall” and a wonderful wooden jungle gym, which curious and active kids can enjoy to their hearts’ content.

At the K Club, there is no limit to the possibilities—over and above the facilities at the club itself, kids can partake in a range of water sports (from banana tube rides and sailing to Jetlev), enjoy a specially create kids massage at the gorgeous Kokaa Wellness Retreat and Spa and explore the underwater world (supervised by our expert kids club counsellors, of course).
There are also weekly cooking classes, arts and crafts workshops, fishing trips, movie nights (set under the incredible Maldivian night sky), scavenger hunts and chocolate making classes included in the kids club programme. At the K Club, every day promises a new and exhilarating experience.
There are specifically tailored menus for kids
Our little fans are as important to us as their parents, which is why at the Bottega, Veli and the K Club itself, we offer special menus created with our younger guests’ palates in mind. Instead of the sophisticated fare that their parents can savour at our phenomenal restaurants, kids can indulge in the likes of chicken nuggets, creamy spaghetti, mini cheeseburgers and pizzas, affording them their idea of a culinary journey.
Wellness activities are incorporated in the K Club programme
The wellbeing of our guests is an absolute priority, no matter how young or old they may be. That’s why we include a range of excellent activities centred on wellbeing at the K Club. Kids can learn the basics of yoga with their own special class, they can enjoy the benefits of Zumba for some fun exercise and they can even learn how to indulge in some mini “me time” with our spa pamper days.

Kids can enjoy typically Maldivian activities
What truly sets the K Club apart from any other kids club, is that it has all the offerings already mentioned, set in the tropical idyll of the Maldives. This also brings a huge range of typical Maldivian activities and authentic experiences that kids can enjoy. They can learn how to play the Maldivian drums, also known as the Boduberu, enjoy the excitement of a hermit crab race (where they mark their hermit with their specified number and put them in the same spot in a circle, and see which crab reaches the edge of the circle first) and relish a pirate cruise.
While the pirate cruise is not technically Maldivian, it gives little adventurers the opportunity to navigate its crystalline waters in a wonderful fashion. Kids create their own costumes in a themed arts and crafts session and then don their costumes on an unforgettable trip to one of Kanuhura’s deserted islands to dig for treasure!
It’s complimentary
The K Club is a complimentary service (with some activities offered for a nominal fee) open daily from 8:30am to 6:30pm and is offered to children between the ages of 4 and 11, with age-appropriate activities enjoyed in two age groups: 4-7 and 8-11. Babysitting services are also available at an extra charge and children between the ages of 2-3 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or babysitter.
