Close to the Hotel Resch there is the ski meadow - here the children can use the practice ski lift for free! One of the cross-country trails is in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

170 kilometers of perfectly prepared pistes and marked ski routes in all levels of difficulty, action-packed snowboard fun park and a snow-making system for 84 kilometers of piste guarantee unlimited skiing pleasure. And for the "stop-off" you are guaranteed to find the right spot in one of the over 50 mountain restaurants.
54 state-of-the-art gondolas and lifts of Bergbahn AGbring you up quickly and comfortably. Including the 3S train, which "flies" over the Caucasus trench, so to speak. And so that you can leave wherever you want, free ski buses stop at all base stations. Unique in Austria is also the free use of all practice lifts in the valley.
A unique gondola lift: with the 3-axled orbit "3S" Kitzbuhel breaks all superlatives. The special feature of the new lift, in addition to the gigantic ground clearance of up to 400 meters above the Saukasergraben, is the enormous tension field: around 2,500 meters from pillar to pillar.
For the construction of the railway, apart from two station buildings with a total length of about 3.7 kilometers, only a single support was necessary. The "3S" has been connecting the two ski areas Kitzbuhel / Pengelstein and Jochberg / Resterhohe since winter 2004/05 and is considered the most modern cable car in the world.

Cross-country skiing
Around Kitzbuhel, in the Brixental and the Wilder Kaiser extend over 500 km of perfectly groomed and snow-sure cross-country ski trails. Thanks to the wide valleys, cross-country skiing in the Kitzbuheler Alpen region is possible with wonderful views and usually without difficult climbs.
Along the beautiful cross-country ski trails you will find rest stops and rest areas at regular intervals. All trails in the region can be used free of charge, as well as all ski buses.
Winter hiking
Away from the piste, the Tyrolean landscape shows off the quiet side. Hiking in Kitzbuhel, Reith, Aurach and Jochberg is an extraordinary thing especially in winter. Discover the charm of a wonderful winter.

In the newly built sports park (10 minutes walk from the Hotel Resch) is a large ice skating hall for skating enthusiasts. Also in the new sports park there is a modern curling hall and a climbing garden.

Bathing in Kitzbuhel

The region Wilder Kaiser - Limestone - Kitzbuheler Horn - Hohe Salve is due to its wide and sunny valley probably one of the most beautiful and inviting recreation areas in Tyrol.
Over 800 km of cycling and mountain biking trails invite you from the beginning of May to the end of October for sports activities. For every cyclist there are suitable routes. Even for not so trained bikers there are enough bike trails.
Worth mentioning - especially for family cyclists - is the river adventure trail from Kirchdorf to Erpfendorf with a length of 3.5 km along the Grossache with rest areas, viewing platforms and a children's play area - combined with natural hydraulic engineering, directly on the Mozart cycle path.
Tennis and horse riding in Kitzbuhel
More than 60 years of tournament tradition - this is the basis for professional courts around the Kitzbuhel Tennis Club that make tennis hearts of all ages beat faster! Hardly any facility has such high-quality and well-maintained courses, built to the rules of the ATP, offering tennis fans seats of international standard.
3 indoor courts and 6 outdoor courts invite tennis fans to hunt the yellow ball over the net.
The riding club Kitzbuhel Mauring is operated by the family Cornelia and Fred Obernauer and has an excellent infrastructure.
Two clay courts (20 x 60 m and 40 x 80 m) and a closed hall (20 x 40 m) ensure fun horse riding in all weathers and in a unique location above the town of Kitzbuhel with a direct view of the Kaiser Mountains. No wonder, then, when guests from near and far always spend their holidays here with their horses.
