Itinerary

Day 1: Vienna
Boarding begins at 6pm. After comfortably settling into your cabins, join the crew for a welcome cocktail and introduction.
Our ship will sail towards Melk through the night.

Day 2: Melk – Durnstein
Breakfast at leisure.
Join us on an optional excursion: Visit the Melk Abbey.
We'll then cruise up the beautiful Wachau Valley all the way to Dürnstein, passing gothic ruins and picturesque villages along the way. Once we arrive, we'll take a tour of this charming medieval town with our hostess. We'll return on board at the end of the afternoon and continue cruising towards Bratislava.

Day 3: Bratislava
Breakfast at your leisure.
Join us for the following optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of the capital of Slovakia. The baroque palaces and the beautiful shaded squares make the charm of Bratislava, which Marie-Theresa of Austria used to hold dear.
DISCOVERY: Hiking in Bratislava: the Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, we'll take in the splendid view of Bratislava.
The afternoon will be spent cruising.

Day 4: Kalocsa
Breakfast at your leisure.
Join us for an optional excursion for both packages: the Puszta, its wonderful landscapes and unusual fauna (including a traditional horse show.)
The afternoon will be spent cruising towards Budapest, we will arrive in the evening.

Day 5: Budapest
Breakfast at leisure.
Join us for the following optional excursions:
CLASSIC: Guided tour of Budapest.
DISCOVERY:
Budapest by bike. You'll see all the important sights of the city on an easy-paced ride, cycling through the historical centre of Hungarian culture and many other legendary sites in Budapest.
Discover the Gellert Baths and Spa.
In the evening, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.

Day 6: Budapest – Esztergom
Breakfast at leisure. Once we arrive, enjoy some free time in Esztergom, one of the oldest cities in Hungary.
The afternoon will be spent cruising to Vienna.
This evening enjoy the Gala dinner onboard and sail through the night.

Day 7: Vienna
Breakfast at leisure.
Join us for the optional excursions proposed:
CLASSIC: Guided visit of Vienna and Schönbrunn Castle.
DISCOVERY: The high art of Viennese living: Music and Viennese cafes. We'll stroll through the city and visit back stage in the Konzerthaus (2) concert hall. After our tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna Coffee and a delicious pastry.
In the afternoon, join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Guided tour of Hofburg Palace.
In the evening, join us on an optional excursion proposed for both packages: Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).

Day 8: Vienna
Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9am.

Ship Information - depending on departure date

MS Vivaldi is a small and intimate ship and is made up of only 88 cabins, built in 2009. The restaurant onboard offers great food and wine, before joining the rest of the passengers for after dinner drinks in the lounge bar, where trivia quizzes, lively games and the occasional live music is the evening entertainment.

MS Beethoven (built 2004, last refurbished in 2010) is one of the CroisiEurope ships in the “4 anchors” class – together with L'Europe and Botticelli (both on Rhine and Danube rivers), La Belle de Cadix (on Guadiana and Guadalquivir rivers in Spain and Portugal)

MS Symphonie (built 1997, last refurbished in 2017) is a 2 deck sailing vessel that sails the Rhine River and the Danube River. The Symphonie is a friendly and comfortable ship with facilities that include a restaurant, lounge bar and dance floor, small library, gift shop and large sundeck
